Faith Episode 22 Rough Live Recap

With Gongmin putting himself out as the bait today, I really don't know what to expect. Young is obviously not working well with his sword now... And remind me.. What is a warrior without his sword? A helpless one. I hoping his love and faith will bring him through this, just like how he resisted Kicheol's freezing power to prevent Eunsoo's wedding with Deokheung. Just crossing my fingers that he will be able to hold his sword well today, and fight well with it, just like the kickass Choi Young we've been seeing for the past 2 months. Yes, we've been on this journey with Faith for two months already. Gee, time flies, when things are enjoyable. However... like in every drama, happiness begets tragedy... Our couple has been having sweet and memorable times in the past few episodes, and i was wondering if this could last forever. Obviously.. No. Both Eunsoo and Choi Young wants to stay happily ever after in Goryeo now, however... following the conventions of Kdramas, we know things will never roll the way our couple wants it to roll. Yes, spoilers has been going around, saying that the antidote Jangbin made is gone... and Eunsoo has to decide whether she should stay here, living her last few days happily with Choi Young, for she does not have any antidote, or go back to 2012, without Choi Young, and live there. Damn, cruel world we have in Goryeo. Let's just hope that fate wouldn't be so cruel to them.. Cause my weak heart definitely cannot take the sight of them in pain.

I'll be posting my live recap of Episode 22 below. Let's hope i'll type this properly, instead of crying.

Episode 22

The yuan person comes for Eunsoo.

Luckily Daeman is alert, and comes to her rescue.

More woodalchi comes in to help fight the yuan person; however her antidote drops… and is stepped on. She tries to get it back, but Daeman grabs her so that they can escape.

Yuan person takes her stuff from the medical hall and leaves.

NG comes to GM. GM says he is gonna find the person that hurt their kid.

He says he wanted to pass an order to kill him (DH), but he couldn’t.

He keeps saying about how no one understands why he can’t do it. But NG keeps stating that she understands him. He says he might take a while to come back.

She says she will wait for him.

Eunsoo was escorted into the palace, and lady choi comes to find her.

She sees Lady choi and hugs her while crying. She asks ES what happened.. ES continues to cry, and lady choi tries to console her.

ES rushes back to the medical hall with Lady choi.. ES says the antidote is gone, and DM says her tools are gone as well.

She says the guy came to take her stuff away, not to kill her.

Lady choi touches the cloth wrapped by Young’s sword last time, left by Maehee.

Eunsoo asks about it, asking if it’s left by his fiancé.

She asks about how much pain Young he was in..

Eunsoo then says… She can start over, trying to make the antidote, however, the antidote might take a longer time to make, longer than till the heaven’s door open. She says she wants to do that, however, she might not be able to make the antidote, and then she will die.

Lady choi says then she should go back, however she says if she does, she will go crazy thinking about him every day, thinking if his doing well.. and all. (*sobs*)

Lady choi then asks her to ask Young, ask him about this, and make your decision.

SY meets Kicheol and DH. He says the letter shows that DH is Goryeo's King. But he says that this is on the condition that Goryeo will become Yuan's. KC said that SY is a Goryeo person, why is he doing this? He said that he once worked hard for Goryeo, but he couldn't do anything for Goryeo, so he gave up.
GM then walks with CY and talks about ES.

They then enter to the board meeting about DH.

GM says he will give DH another chance, saying if you admit about kidnapping the Queen, I will let you off and you will just leave this land. He says this way, he can keep his citizens safe.

Kicheol says that Yuan ordered for DH to be King, so he cannot disobey Yuan, or else they can tell Yuan and have GM killed...  Both of them are smiling, and some people on KC's side comes in

Woodalchi stands by..

GM then says to DH, if it’s not your blood, you don’t care about the rest? (People/citizens)

KC then says something, and DH laughs and leaves.

GM says he still has things to say to DH but DH walks off.

Woodalchi starts to fight KC’s people, and Young gets woodalchi to escort GM out.

KC looks at everything. CY looks back at KC.

Woodalchi calls for more people, while they fight more of KC’s people.
Ahnjae tells his guards that they have to get ready. His people asks if they have to wait until they are given the green light to attack. He says it isn’t the time yet, they have to wait to get the notification to go.
Dochi talks to the statesmen. He then says the queen is coming to speak to them.

She briefs them on what to do if anything happens to the King. She says he said that if anything happens to him, he will let them decide if they will help him and fight Yuan. She then looks away, worriedly.

As Young escorts GM, more guards come to fight them, and GM tells him that they will go that way, but Young stops him. However, GM says no they have to stay … He walks away without CY agreeing.

Woodalchi escorts GM.

NG is still talking to the statesmen. A letter gets delivered to them. The letter states that an order came from Yuan, to make DH the King.

Yikjae’s student says that they cannot let this happen, the King they want should be the King, not DH.

However, some guys says that a war cannot happen, which means they can’t stop the order from Yuan to make DH the King.

Ahnjae is hearing about the situation.

Choongsuk escorts GM safely to somewhere, while Young fights some guys alone.

After killing everyone in his sight, his hands starts to shake again…

DB comes to help him… And when Y gets a hold of himself, he kills another person.

However, after that, he drops his sword.. DB witnesses all these, and looks in fear.

GM is worried, while CS stays by his side.

CY comes to report to GM.

CY asks about the royal seal and the statesman, saying that they are cracking their head about what to do about the order from Yuan.. and GM. Whether they should send their men to help GM. GM says he will wait for the army to be sent. He says he will have to wait to see whether his citizens will be faithful, and fight for him. He says he needs their permission, and he will wait.

CY says if they drag this any longer, he might not be able to protect GM anymore (as in seriously, cause his gripping his hand, worried that he can’t protect the King anymore)
CY goes out, and looks at the bodies he killed. Some guys are dragging the bodies away.

Eunsoo is looking at CY’s room, with all her stuff taken away. DM is sorting the place out.

Eunsoo touches CY’s warrior suit… to find the aspirin bottle, with the withered flower she gave to CY.

She takes the flower out and looks at it.

She then asks DM, how much danger are woodalchis in.

DM says its fine, cause CY is with them.

The other woodalchi reports the condition, and she says… then there should be a lot of bloodshed.

DM says it’s okay, cause CY is with them, but the other woodalchi guys shuts him up.

DM asks what ES is thinking, and she says… she thinking about how that guy has been living like that all these while…

KC’s other guy(?)/right hand man comes and helps Hwasooin and Eumja escape from jail *DAMN*

NG is still with the statesman, and she sweats in fear as they quarrel.

CY is waiting at the same spot, while many of  come to attack him.

He holds on his sword tight, and gets ready to fight them.

He successfully kills the first batch, leaving those behind in fear.

*where*

DH is talking to KC. DH says since its done, they should enter the palace.

KC says they can’t. DH says im the King, I should go in now.

KC is stressing out, while DH continues to irritate him.

He rants at DH.

KC’s other guy comes to report to KC the situation.

NG tells the statesmen, how about giving up on GM, forgetting about everything. She says GM is gonna have to wait for the statesman's army to come... They all turn silent, and she says you guys don’t even have the courage to give it up. They decide to attack help GM, attacking Yuan.

Ahnjae receives the order, allowing him to help GM, and he says they can now go and escort the King.

KC’s other guy reports some bad news to KC, however KC remains calm.

DH leaves. KC looks tired, and sick…

DH sneaks around.

Ahnjae’s guards come to rid some of KC’s guys.

Ahnjae comes to CY and asks where the King is. CY asks if DH has been found?

They say they have been finding.

Ahnjae goes to the king, saying he has come to escort the King.

GM asks Ahnjae where CY is???

DH is still sneaking around, while ahnjae’s people find him.

A yuan person comes to DH, blocking Ahnjae’s guys from taking DH away.
CY looks at his hand in worry..

Eunsoo is working with some herbs in his room.

CY comes back to woodalchi’s quarters, and DM is delighted.

Eunsoo rushes out, and CY comes towards her.

He then dismisses woodalchi, saying they’ve worked hard.

He goes into his room, and Eunsoo follows suit. He goes in and immediately drops his sword.

Eunsoo picks it up.

She says she will help him with his suit, but he rejects her help.

She tells him not to be like this to him… let her do what she wants.

She tries to touch the blood on his face, and he tells her that its not his blood.

She says she knows. He says today wasn’t very difficult, so she need not worry.

She then hugs him tight, and he hugs her back… Both of them… on the verge of tears.

GM is talking to NG about the happenings, and his plans.

GM tells her about CY, and NG asks if CY is hurt. He says he did something bad to CY, and CY did everything for me... He says to prevent more bloodshed… he is having CY like that.

SY is talking to DH.. SY tells him that he should leave now…till Goryeo's army invades.

He packs DH’s stuff for him. He then takes out Eunsoo’s tools and tells his servant to rid it.

He then tells DH to follow now..

DH takes his leave.

DH finds KC.. 
He tells GC that he will help him, but KC must kill ES and CY before he returns. He continues, saying that he still has some of Eunsoo's stuff from heaven, and he thinks it has to do with some future telling and all. He says he hid them all.

Eunsoo is checking CY’s hands again, checking if there are any symptoms.

She tells him to lie down, and he asks.. lie down?

She says she needs to give him treatment, so just lie down.

He lies down.

She takes his sword, and he sits up. She brings it to him, asking if his teacher gave it to him.

He says yes… he tells her to sit next to her.

He then puts his arm around her, and the two off them hold the sword together.

He tells her about the sword, how it doesn’t even make sounds when its taken out.

He says, this sword was also the one used to kill his teacher.

She asks, was he in a lot of pain when his teacher died?

He said yes.. she asks, that’s why you slept like that for so many years?

She says, if you never met me, will you still be sleeping like you used to?

He says he doesn’t know what he would have become if he didn’t meet her.

He says he wasn’t able to catch the guy that fed her medicine and all.

He continues, and then they both look solemn, while Eunsoo looks over at the antidote’s container.

GM orders Ahnjae’s group to do some things.

GM asks CY how many days are there left till ES leaves?

He says 14 days left… GM says today, just spend it alone with ES, since there's not much time till ES leave, telling him to spend as much time as possible with her..

He hears about what happened to the antidote from GM.

He asks DM about it… and he hears that ES cried a lot.

CY talks to Lady choi, and lady choi tells him about how Eunsoo cried, saying that if she goes back and all… what will happen to CY… Lady choi asks him if ES asked him already, about what she should do.

Of course, she hasn’t.

CY comes to find SY.

He came for DH, and asks to search the area. He says he heard that DH escaped in SY's carriage, saying he will check it thoroughly.

SY then talks to CY, about ES and how DH fed her the poison. He says that he heard that there’s no antidote.

He says, since ES has to die anyway, why don’t you just let her be… and save everything. He says that because of ES, he might die in the future.. So be wary.. He says that's all he can say. 

CY goes back to find ES, but at the door, he hesitates to go in. He enters, but ES ain’t around.

He looks at the antidote containers, and then he hits them all off to the floor.

ES is with NG, and checking her body. She then gives her some makeup and cosmetic products…

NG says, you have been preparing already right? To go back..

ES says she will answer NG now, about what happens to her, and if she will have a baby.

ES says, if I tell you what happen, that you will leave him after 10 years, will you stop meeting GM and leave him?

NG says she knows what ES is saying.. She says, you guys won’t be together for long, you can’t be together for more than 100 years. (ES's not lying.. But she's keeping NG happy. Girl is awesome.)

NG smiles, thinking it won’t be more than 100 years, but very long now..

Eunsoo says, don't think about what will happen..  just love each other… missing each other even by being by each other’s side.. that kind of love.

ES leaves, and CY gets her outside NG's place.

CY says he heard everything, that the antidote is gone. He says… so now, the antidote is gone, and you don’t tell me?

She says there’s no need to…. Since Woodalchi saved her, and she can remake the antidote.

He says he will have to bring her back. He says this is the first time that he didn't keep his promise with her. He promised to send her back, but then he was selfish... He wanted to keep her by his side, even when she's at the risk of dying. He says:"What am i doing? I'll take the words i said about keeping you with me back." He tells her to pretend he never said it. He leaves.

He walks away… and she looks in pain.

KC and his siblings are having their discussion. KC says he needs to see Eunsoo.

Hwasooin says they checked everywhere, but couldn’t find her.

KC then says, just follow CY and ES will be found. He says they can use CY to find ES.

Hwasooin says CY is a little weird, recapping to his hand shaking. She says she wants to be the one that deals with him.

Eumja asks… why do you want her so badly to KC.. He says, cause he can’t get her.

Eunsoo looks at some flowers in the palace, the same kind she gave him. She recaps to how CY said at the beginning “To send you back, you need to be alive, so please stay by my side till then..” and other memories he said.

CS comes to her, saying its late.

CS then asks, if its uncomfortable for ES being in that room, he can arrange another room for her.

She says, should we do that? He talks about what woodalchis said.. She says, bring me back.

She goes back to CY’s room, and says she’s back.

CY says, we will leave tomorrow, tomorrow morning.

She says no, she says… you listen to me now.

He says he’s listening.

She says she will remake the antidote tomorrow, and stay by his side, staying behind.
You says she can't do that, but she says she will remain by his side. She says, to worry about going or not, she's not going to do that... She's not going to waste days worrying about things like that. 

He says, do you know what you’re saying now? (because her life will be in danger if she does this) 

She says yes… she says she knows that if it doesn’t go well, she will die… in front of his eyes.

She says, "If things turns out like that, please look after me till the end. Hold me till the end, and don't leave me alone.."

 
She cries… and CY leaves the room, trying to hide his emotions from her.
She remains in the room, tearing. He gathers his feelings, and then comes in, saying they should go now, and wait at the heaven’s door, getting her to pack her stuff.

She says no, she’s not leaving. She's going to stay hre. She says, have you ever thought about me?
He says, do i have to tie you up and take you there? 
She asks if he thought about how Eunsoo will be if she returns... If he ever thought about her feelings.
He says: You will be able to live, being healed, in heaven's world.

ES: “Have you ever thought about what will happen to me after that?”

He says you will be able to live.

ES:"Yes, I will be able to live... I'll live my life, seeing people i don't know everyday, then going back to an empty room... and then when the night comes, i'll ask "Are you there", but i won't get any reply. And i will wake up the next day, and live another day like that, like a dead person."

She says: "Don’t you know what it is like? You know, cause you’ve been living like that." (or you'll be living like that. Not sure, couldn't hear properly)

 
CY: For the past few days I was protecting the king, not being able to find your antidote.
He says, he was going out, killing people to protect the King, instead of finding the antidote to save her. He says he can't even do anything for her, he can’t even be by her side for these days, so how can he even protect her? He says: So how can i ask you to stay with me?

He gets angry at himself, and his hand starts to shake. She sees it, and holds it and starts to cry… Holding his hand.

Someone, please help my babies.
They're helpless. One standing there, wanting to keep her, but is unable to... the other one, wanting to stay with him, even though she might die. I hate you, world, how can you do this to my innocent pair!
Honestly, if not for the fortune teller and his one year thing of her coming back, i could accept a happy ending, with her heading back to 2012 when the portal opens, get cured, and return to Goryeo before the door closes. But the way the fortune teller said it was that she will go to somewhere for a year and return after that, so that just kills all hopes for me. God, please save them, they're so helpless, wanting to love with all their hearts, but because of love as well, they can't do so. How can fate be so cruel to them? A couple from different times, falling in love in the same time and space... It's fate, they were bound to fall in love... And it's better to have loved than to never, but if the pain is gonna be so deep, why for?
